This month I want to tell you about how you can share my love of all things floral… by showing you and getting you involved at one of our courses!

What makes this such a great activity is that we come to you so that you can share our passion from the comfort of your own home, office, hotel… pretty much anywhere where there’s a group of you that want to learn a little more about the delightful world of floristry.

We recently ran a fantastic course in Birmingham as part of an international conference. It was such a joy because there was potential for language to be a barrier and it was pure testament to the wonderful language of flowers that there was no such problem and the experience was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved. The result? Autumnal themed table centres that the clients could keep in their rooms, and be very proud of, all week long!

When we run these courses we bring everything you could need with us… the flowers, all the related equipment, aprons and crib sheets, you just need to turn up and enjoy yourselves. This is where we differ from other flower schools as we want to make this all about the flowers, not the logistics of you getting a group of people to a fixed location.

It might be a corporate event, team building activity, hen weekend, clients considering a change in career, or just because sometimes its great to do something completely different while learning a new skill in the company of good friends… we want to do the leg work so that you just get to do the fun bit!

We also run courses at the excellent Hoddington Arms in Upton Grey – I can highly recommend the food and wine – both of which are utterly delicious! In the new year we will be running a Wedding Workshop in February and a Floral headress workshop in March. Great fun for a girls day out.

As an alternative, for those of you who want to surprise family and friends by learning how to do your own wedding flowers, fancy a work experience day or learn how to confidently arrange church pedestals, I offer one to one courses in my own studio where you’ll have private tuition and learn a lot about this world that I’m so passionate about. Prices for these private courses vary depending on what you want to achieve so get in touch and together we can plan a course that meets your needs perfectly.

So… why not do something different and let me give you an insight into the heady world of flowers, I know you’ll love it and we’ll have loads of fun while you learn!
