It goes without saying that every wedding is an extraordinary event, filled with love and laughter. But every now and then you see a wedding that positively EXUDES love and laughter and leaves you speechless (in a really good way!)
Such was the wedding of Lou and Bessie at Millbridge Court in Farnham. It was quite literally perfect. Aside from the happy couple themselves (which I’ll come back to) it was an idyllic location, a wonderful cake (courtesy of Milk Street Kitchen), an astonishing photographer (Guy Collier – you can see his photo’s here and you’ll understand what I mean!) and, dare I say, some really, really beautiful flowers.
We were excited with our brief to ‘bring the outdoors in’ – an absolute pleasure to fulfil. There were Sweet Peas, Ranunculus, Freesias, Anemone, Honeymoon Tulips, Tanacetum Daisies, Rosemary & Alchemilla Mollis, Blossom, Viburnum, Astrantia, Narcissi lots and lots of spring bulbs. All in all it looked, and smelt, pretty amazing!
But it can’t be denied, what really made the day was the Lou and Bessie themselves, two nicer people you couldn’t hope to meet and their relaxed, fun and loving attitude was contagious. Do take a few minutes to look at the photos and you’ll see exactly what I mean.
Congratulations once again, it was an absolute pleasure and I’m looking forward to a Summer full of amazing weddings and amazing flowers.
(I love my job!)
