Gorgeous is the only word that comes to mind after a day like that spent with the lovely Alex and Stephanie at Bury Court Barn. Yes… there really is such a thing as a dream wedding day!
The beautiful bride and groom were a picture of happiness and their delight was contagious. Everything about the day was special… the people, the venue, the atmosphere, and… dare I say the flowers!
Of course, I cannot wait to tell you about the flowers first. Think romantic and soft and big bouquets! They managed to harmoniously make a statement while being gentle and sensitive to the beautiful historic surroundings.
They also oozed romance (very important on such an occasion!) and complimented the style of the wedding and the venue perfectly.
A combination of pastel pink Sweet Avalanche Roses, dainty Peony, Lavender and Alchimella Mollis worked together to paint a stunning picture.
The Sweet Avalanche Rose never fails to deliver as it always opens fully presenting a perfect bloom. And with a sturdy stem, they’re guaranteed to look as great at the end of the day as it does at the beginning. Much like the bride!
The venue… The Barn at Bury Court is a beautifully converted barn that blends old oak beams with versatile modern facilities while the enchanting walled garden affords privacy and tranquility. Think old world charm, warmth, atmosphere, and lovely textures to compliment the flowers and decorations. The soft flowers sat beautifully against the wooden beams.
Photography by Cotton Candy Photography means that Alex and Stephanie will be able to look back on the day with a really accurate representation of just how wonderful it was! They captured the mood beautifully and the resulting images are enough to make every bride (and bridegroom) swoon!
So… once more… huge Congratulations to Alex and Stephanie, and to everyone involved in making it the fantastic, beautiful wedding that it was!
