A glorious Summer wedding is a thing of beauty… and few get more beautiful that of Lucy and Robert in July. Not even the good old British weather (yes, umbrellas were required!) could cast a shadow on this day.
The lovely bridal party got ready at The Barn at Roundhurst, Lurgashall before the wedding ceremony at St Teresa’s Church in Chiddingfold followed by a wonderful reception at Russets Country House. This is a magical place with the only 5-star Google rating of all the wedding venues in Surrey. It feels like everything here sparkles… and most sparkly of all were the bride and groom!
Our brief was to come up with a wild and relaxed country garden style featuring lilacs, pale blues and whites using seasonal blooms, foliage and herbs. In short, every florists dream!
Lucy looked stunning and her effortless style was complemented by the ‘wild’ bouquet. Silverado Roses, Ocean Song Roses, Delphinium, Flowering Mint, Oregano, Nigella, Scabious, Olive and Asparagus Fern made up the large asymmetric style with mesmerising herbs and fragrance.
The bridesmaids carried smaller hand tied bouquets with the same relaxed feel.
At the fantastic venue, we put in two stunning urn arrangements along with a mixture of tall and low arrangements on the tables. To match with the bouquets, these all included lots of British herbs and foliage and the resulting scent that filled room at Russets was nothing short of incredible.
Take a look at the photos on our Pinterest board, the wedding party is glowing, and a little bit of rain couldn’t stop the warmth emanating from this couple!
