Excited at the prospect of some sunshine coming our way (thank goodness!), we’ve been reminiscing about a wonderful wedding we were lucky to have been a part of last summer.
This was the lovely Laura & Tom's wedding held at the ever-stunning Hotel Du Vin in Winchester. A boutique hotel in Hampshire, built in 1715 it really is a splendid venue… and ideal considering this really was a splendid wedding!
Needless to say, the bride looked absolutely stunning, everything went to plan, and the sun shone on the guests who’d gathered to share this special occasion.
Once inside, the interior reflected the splendour of the day. Picture gold candelabras, gold rose bowls, stem vases, dinner candles, tealights – all incredibly romantic, particularly in these surroundings. To complement this theme, we created what we’d like to describe as ‘floral heaven’… a combination of Peony, Garden Roses, Pinks, Whites and textured foliage which created romantic, blousy, feminine arrangements.
The bouquet itself was pure white, as were the petals that were scattered down the ‘aisle’… stunning in its simplicity.
As we look forward to another summer of wonderful weddings, this one sticks in our mind, and we can’t wait to create some more amazing floral memories this year!
